Spring Cleaning Your Mattress

Spring time means flowers, warm weather, and cleaning your mattress. Yes, you read that right. Step 1: Vacuum

After removing the sheets and mattress cover, vacuum any crumbs, pet hair, and dirt.

Step 2: Clean the stains

Depending on what kind of stains you have, you’ll need to bring in the big guns:

• Dash of hydrogen peroxide
• A squirt of liquid dish soap
• A sprinkle of baking soda

Mix with water in a spray bottle for 30 seconds and treat stains.

Step 3: Deodorize

Spread a small amount of baking soda over your entire mattress, let it sit for a few hours, then vacuum. This should absorb any odors hiding in your mattress.

Step 4: Air it out
